WELCOME
I do believe that young people can and should have an important role in politics and in the society.
I am always interested in receiving feedback, hearing your ideas, and discovering more ways to proudly represent young people across Europe.
SHORT BIO
I was born in Larnaca, Cyprus. I hold a Bachelor degree in Law and I am a Barrister-at-law of the Honorable society of Lincoln's Inn in the United Kingdom. I also hold a Masters degree in Corporate Law from University College London (UCL).
I am a member of both the British and Cypriot Bar Council and currently practicing law in Cyprus.
I am politically active and over the years I have held important positions at national and European level.
In March 2018, I was elected Vice-President of the Council of Europe Advisory Council on Youth, co-leading the body deciding on matters concerning the youth, as well as the priorities, expected results and budget allocations across the CoE Member States. I led the portfolio on the CoE Youth Strategy 2030 which provides the policy guidance and the political roadmap for the period 2020-30.
I have been the President of European Democrat Students (EDS), the official student organisation of the European People's Party, for two terms between 2015 - 2017. In recognition of my work and achievements, I was appointed as the EDS Honorary Chairman.
I am often a speaker in international events and I work on a large number of important European projects in cooperation with national and European organisations and policy-shapers. In 2017-2018 I was a Jury Member in the 'New Shape Prize', a competition launched by the Global Challenges Foundation aiming to reshape Global Governance which awarded 5 Million USD to the winning ideas.
On the national level, I serve as the Dep. Spokesperson and International Secretary of the Democratic Rally (DISY) which is the governing Party in Cyprus,
In December 2021 I had the honour to be elected as the President of the Youth of DISY (NEDISY), the largest and most influential youth political organisation in Cyprus.
